Maggie Lloyd – Account Handler
Anyone who has rung the Farmers & Mercantile’s Ludlow office has more than likely spoken to Maggie Lloyd. The office's longest standing member of staff has been providing client advice and service for 7 years.
Originally from a farming family Maggie was always keen to get hands on, “the only thing I didn’t do on the farm was drive the tractor but I did everything else!” At the age of 17 she started work for the NFU Mutual and two Agencies later, with spells in teaching and the post office she came to work for Powell-Price in 2003. This was later to become Farmers & Mercantile’s second office in 2006.
When asked what she most enjoyed about her job “For me its all about maintaining that good relationship with our clients, some of which have been with us for years and years. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you have provided them with top quality service. Its also nice to get to meet clients face to face, which can happen more often now our new office is more accessible.”
With a passion for country pursuits, Maggie looks after her eight dogs and also helps run the Keep at the Winterburn Shoot with her husband Chris.
