As the Pedigree Bull sales are not able to happen we expect to see a higher number of Bulls than normal sold privately.
Insurers are adapting to accommodate the restrictions and they can accept insurance for bulls valued up to £10,000 with a declaration of health signed by the insured.
For bulls valued over £10,000 insurers are happy to agree health if a video of the bull has been shown to their usual vet which can be used to authorise health.
Despite the normal bull sales not going ahead and our normal offices being closed Farmers and Mercantile staff are working from home and are still able to offer the normal range of breeders warranties and mortality insurance to farmers.
