Smallholding Insurance

Throughout England, Scotland and Wales there are thousands of smallholdings. We have tailor made packages available, in the past it has been difficult to find suitable insurance for this sector but now in conjunction with underwriters we are able to offer specialist packages at competitive prices.

We have found over the years that smallholdings are often ran as: Hobby Farms | Small Farms | Lifestyle choices | Small Businesses | Rare Breeders | For Conservation Purposes | As Grazing for Livestock

Country Home and Estates

We advise protecting your country home with an insurance product designed solely for this purpose to avoid a gap in cover or underinsurance. You will often find that a standard household policy will not suffice.

Specialist country house policies are designed to incorporate the fact that the property will most likely be situated within grounds or land of up to 100 acres. If your property is listed or thatched then these too would benefit from the premium offerings of our specialist insurance product.

Your Contents

Arriving at the correct sums for contents insurance is important. The real challenge today is that people have a greater comfort level with possessions of high value but forget to accurately represent the replacement values when setting sums insured. In most cases where this is tricky to evaluate we would advise a professional appraisal – often insurers can arrange for this to be done at no charge.

Take into account;

  • Jewellery
  • Antiques
  • Fine art
  • Collectors’ items

It is a toxic duo if your home and contents sums insured are incorrect. Take the time to ensure that these are set at realistic values.

Other Insurances you might need

For your convenience we are also able to arrange insurance for:

Country and Sporting Estates | Overseas Properties | Syndicate Shoot Cover | Yachts / Large Craft | Collectors / Vintage Cars | Kidnap & Ransom
