What a Monday

…busy visiting clients and typing up notes

After a busy day visiting clients I am back in the office to quickly type up my meeting notes before another busy day on the road tomorrow.

Today I have visited two clients to discuss their renewals and another who unfortunately suffered a fire at the weekend. Fortunately nobody was injured and the fire brigade manage to put the fire out quickly before too much damage was suffered. It looks like the cause of the fire was from a spark from an angle grinder whilst the client was carrying out some maintenance work. Luckily we had recently extended the clients cover to include accidental damage to cover for incidents such as this.

A huge part of my job is to increase the brand awareness of Farmers & Mercantile and gain new customers, so my Friday evening was spent stuffing 200 envelopes. It may not have been the wildest Friday evening I have had but it wasn’t too bad as I did have some help from our dog Belle.

Last Thursday my colleague Thom and I visited the weekly store sale at Thirsk Auction Mart. The Mart saw a good trade with plenty of numbers going through. I love to attend these marts because I always bump into my clients and other farmers that I know, just to make sure I sneak in some brand awareness I of course wore my full F&M gear. Even though I am technically working when I attend the livestock marts I always enjoy it because I get to see the quality of stock and prices but most of all I get to eat the best breakfast… YUM!
